About JP's
A friendly members' club on The Stow, put together for people who genuinely love snooker, pool and darts — with the tables and the atmosphere to match.
JP's brings five snooker tables, seven English pool tables and three dart oches together over two floors — but the real heart of the place is the people.
Yes, we take the game seriously: leagues, comps and tables kept in proper match condition. But first and foremost JP's is a social club. It's where you make good friends, share a laugh and a pint, and always get a warm welcome — with no trouble and no attitude, whoever you are.
Snooker sits on the first floor; pool and darts are on the second. We're open 11am–11pm Monday to Saturday, and 11am–7pm on Sundays, with the bar, hot & cold snacks and air conditioning sorted year-round.
Meet Bailey
Every club needs a mascot, and ours has four legs and a surprisingly good cue action. Bailey's a regular at JP's — keeping an eye on the tables, supervising the coaching, and hoovering up any dropped chips.
